Best known for her flawless vocals delivered with trademark sass, Hyland has teamed with some of Sydney’s finest jazz players – Brett Hirst, Matt McMahon, Dave Longo and Pete Drummond – in this new powerhouse quintet which has quickly become a mainstay on the Sydney jazz scene. The delightful quintet’s fresh twist on traditional jazz styling provides the perfect backdrop to your party, art opening or wedding – as party-goers at the nuptials of Sydney power couple Anthony Minichiello and Terry Biviano can attest. Sarah Hyland and the Reckless Gents are also regulars at some of Sydney’s finest venues including Palmer and Co, the Ivy and The Star Casino.
No stranger to the spotlight, Hyland has wowed audiences from New York to Delhi with her playful tongue-in-cheek humour and fresh fusion of jazz, blues and folk. She has also sung alongside industry heavyweights including Vanessa Amorossi and Eric Clapton and performed at Wangarratta Jazz Festival and the Paramasala Festival in Sydney.
